Purchasing a vehicle is a major investment in a complex machine and manufacturer warranties have long been a means to provide peace of mind and protection when making the important decision on which vehicle to choose. GM provides one of the industry’s best standard warranties, signaling that trained GM professionals will stand by any repairs or upkeep their vehicles may need. Some consumers, however, look for extended warranties on their vehicles above and beyond what comes standard and providing that service has long fell to the individual dealerships.
GM is excited to announce that they are shaking up this established model by providing, directly from the manufacturer, extended bumper-to-bumper warranty on new Chevrolet, GMC, Buick and Cadillac vehicles. This optional coverage extends the warranty on Chevrolet and GMC vehicles to a 5-year/60,000-mile term, or Buick and Cadillac owner’s coverage to a 6-year/70,000 mile term. Statistically, most owners drive the same vehicle for about six years meaning this new extended coverage option will last most drivers their entire ownership period.
This coverage will be accepted, no questions, at any Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Cadillac dealer across the country, including Country Chevrolet Buick GMC, and is transferable to new owners should you sell before the terms are up.
